U.N is getting called out!

The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made a speech suggesting that the holocaust never happened, calling it "a lie." Many people walked during the speech, those who stayed were "lambasted" by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his speech in response. Netanyahu then went on to say "perhaps some of you think [Ahmadinejad] and his odious regime only threaten the Jews...Well, if you think that you are wrong, dead wrong." Netanyahu went on to suggest "what starts as attacks on Jews always ends up engulfing others."
It is known that Iran wants to do its own thing in terms of their weapon production regardless of what the U.N. says they should do. Prime Minister Netanyahu is suggesting that other nations get involved with "demilitarizing" Iran for the sake of the world, not just for the benefit of Israel. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1116784.html
Palestinians are being backed by Iran. This is causing a big problem for the Jews in Israel who need help from specifically the United States. Talks between Israelis and Palestinians seem to be going nowhere. Both sides are stubborn! Chief Palestinian negotiator said "there would be no follow-up session with the Israelis because the two sides hadn't bridged the divides that have prevented them from resuming talks."http://haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1116681.html
Should the U.S get involved and pick sides? I believe that if Iran has a military agenda with the production of nuclear weapons, the U.S. should resolve that issue. For the sake of worldwide peace, Iran should not have those types of weapons. As for getting involved with Israel-Palestine conflicts, the U.S. is not the world police! The land of Israel is surrounded by Arab states that aren't to fond of Jews. Who's fault is it that there is gonna be conflict?
I believe the sources of this article are legit. The website basically quoted from 2 speeches.

Israel flag controversy

A student in Germany was fined 300 Euros for displaying an Israel flag at a demonstration organized by muslims in opposition of the IDF Operation Cast Lead in January. The student chose to not reveal her identity when talking about the incident publicly. She feared for her safety due to the "massive problems with Nazis." When the Jerusalem Post asked the district court what had happened, they replied that displaying the Israeli flag was a "violation of the right to assembly" and that the demonstrators failed to register their protest. jpost

What is very suprising about the German officials singling out the woman with the Israeli flag is the fact that Palestinian supporters "compared Israel with Nazi Germany." One would think that Palestinians comparing Israelites to a horrible experience in Germany would make the Germans more upset than an Israeli flag.

I am very much in favor of protest, but her story does not make sense. I believe that she provoked the German Police to take action. The report says that "she wasn't saying anything offensive," so doesn't it seem a little far fetched for her to get fined based on "only" showing the Israeli flag?
